Hi, I’m Yue

I’m a Lead Product Designer with 5+ years of experience designing digital products and services, driven by customer insights.

Driven by a desire to truly understand people’s needs, I translate intangible research findings into digital products, services, and systems. With experience at both design consulting firms and big corporations, I bring diverse perspectives and experience to any team.

I was a senior UX designer at Volvo, where I designed their next-generation HMI. Before that, I worked at IDEO for some world's leading brands, including helping to scale a program for children with special needs into a digital platform, designing the service and digital platform for liver cancer early detection, and helping a big brand envision the future of its commercial vehicles.

I’m also a design teacher at night, with 5 years of teaching and mentoring experience in design education, spanning tertiary education, leading multiple series of thematic workshops, portfolio coaching, and long-term curriculum development. I’m passionate about nurturing future-ready designers with strong human-centered thinking. By doing so, I hope to contribute to the growth and development of the design community.
